The Final Fig Session

Fig season is nearly over in the Lockyer Valley. So now is the time to preserve some figgy deliciousness to last until next season.

Come along to our May Jam Session and learn to preserve figs in two different ways. We will make a sweet conserve to serve with icecream or yoghurt and whole figs preserved in herb vinegar to serve on a cheese board or in cook in a Moroccan – style tagine.

The small group class will be held at Forest Hill School of Arts. May 20th 9.00 -12.00. A tasty morning tea of local produce is provided. You will take home at least four bottles of preserved figs.

Bookings by 13th May essential. Contact Barbara for details on 0419717918.  $60 per person.

If Fig Jam is more your thing you could host a private Jam session of 4 of more people at your house.
